Last year TJ had his coming out party in the win over #1-ranked Harcum in the last regular season game that propelled Monroe into the playoffs, where he had a signature performance of 24 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. A starter the rest of the way, TJ used his court sense, lightning first step, shooting ability, and overall intensity to help lead the Mustangs to a seventh place finish in the national tournament. His averages during that stretch were 12 ppg, 3.4 rpg, and 5.1 apg.
For the season last year, TJ averaged 10.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.4 apg, and shot 71% ft.
In high school he was a first-team All-Ohio player and averaged 18 ppg, 6 rpg, 4 apg in his senior year. His accolades were numerous: Northwest district player of the year, District G player of the year, Ohio Cardinal Conference Player of theYear. He also made the Ohio North/South all star game and was a McDonalds All-American game nominee.
