Summary

Biography

Anthony is a mature player who understands the team nature of the game and the kind of dedication and commitment it takes to be a winning player on a winning team.  He is athletic and strong with a nice mid-range jumper.  Coach Brustad calls him a Jermaine O’Neal-type player, a jump-shooting, physical post player.  Dogged by injuries last year, he emerged in the National Tournament and had impact, shooting 8 for 12 from the field in the four games. 
 
Anthony’s high school awards are numerous.  Twice he was an All-state player and he was the Lock-down Player of the Year for his defense, and a three-time All-district player.  He also was the fastest in his school’s history to score 1000 points and is the all-time leader in blocked shots.  In his junior year of high school he averaged 22 ppg, 12rpg, 5 spg, and 4 bpg. In his senior year, he had 20 ppg, 13rpg, 4spg, and 4bpg.
