Chris was stellar in his freshman season at Monroe. The 5"9' right hander was the Mustangs most reliable arm out of the bullpen. He made 14 appearences during the season (second most on the team), pitching 32 innings in which he posted a team best 1.13 era. Throughout the first half of the season, Chris was nearly unhittable as he went his first15.1 innings without giving up a run (Monroe's longest scoreless innings streak of the season). This past summer he pitched for the Yorkton Cardinals of the WMBL where he was the leader in saves and had the lowest batting averege against.
