When Hazel stepped on the court for the first time last season there was little doubt that she was one of the Mustangs best players. The talented Floridian helped lead Monroe to capture both the Region XV and and the District L championships in 2012. She finished the season second on the team in service aces (65) and second in assists.


About Hazel
Hazel is a former first team all-conference and Seminole County Player of the Year, Hazel is an all-around player.  Although positioned mainly at the setter position, Hazel possesses the skill and volleyball knowledge to play every position on the floor. She was ranked among the top six players in central Florida during the 2011-2012 season when she led Winter Springs HS to the state championship game. Coach Delgado believes her hitting and superb defense are the tools that make Hazel a perfect fit for the Mustangs. He expects for her to have an immediate positive impact on the team.
