Lynasha is a tenacious player, especiallyondefense,where she can hold
herownone-on-one aswell as switch andmove inMonroe’s pressing
concepts.Onoffense she has that quick first step thatmakes her a
danger -opening things up for her teammateson a regular basis.Coach
Goodman expects her tofit inwell in either guardposition.

Lynasha played with Kashay Barnes in high school. She started playing
in eighth grade, whichmeans she played varsity ball for 5 years. In the
state championship game, she scored 19 points and five assists, winning
theMVP. In theMVAL (Monocacy Valley Athletic League) she was a
First-teamAll-star in 2007-08, was honorablemention in 2008-09,
made the second teamin 2009-10 and the first teamlast year.
TheWashington Post named her to their all-star team, too.
